Symphony

I haven’t posted in awhile because, I was on the KHOU News two weeks ago. Great Day Houston producers selected me as one of the featured local artist participating 43rd Bayou City Arts Festival in Houston. The show and the festival went very well.

After the event, I started to make a new inventory for the next one. I have already several designing ideas, but you know that it takes plenty of time. "Symphony"  is the one of them and it is my original design.

I tatted with two strands of polyester threads in blue and pale silver color with fire polished opaque Amazon blue rondelle, fresh water pearl, fire polished faceted black diamond crystals and faceted round smoky quartz beads.
Three round, Genuine Amazonite are used in focal motif.

Bluebonnet

The same tatting pattern is used in a different style of necklace. I love this pattern. Sophistication and style is shown in this tatting necklace and matching bracelet.

Victorian Diva

The choker necklace is designed by combining several different motifs and bead dangles. I was inspired by the Victorian era lace.
I shuttle tatted it in Altin Basak polyester thread and used several sizes of crystals and silver lined clear seed beads in this necklace.

Sea Green

(Motif Twenty-four)

I used Lizbeth size 20 in "Sea Green" color thread and bronze color Japanese glass beads for these earrings.  Changing the thread size in a pattern alters the size of the design. Both size of  the threads are perfectly fine for the pattern.

Autumn Spire

(Motif Twenty-three)

New earrings that are inspired by a vintage edging pattern. I tatted the earrings with Lizbeth thread size 10 in "Harvest Orange" color thread and matching color faceted crystals.

Deep Purple

(Motif Twenty two)

I started to make this piece as a necklace but I haven't decided the style, choker or necklace. "Deep Purple" lace looks very stylish as a bracelet but I also love the slave bracelet style too.  It could be a very elegant hair accessory or perhaps all of them could be...

It can be worn multiple ways such as a choker, necklace, head band, bracelet, slave bracelet or three-row wrap- around bracelet.

Then I made this original design shuttle tatted beaded lace. I used Altin Basak polyester-6 ply thread in deep purple color with purple fire polished gem-cut beads, purple AB faceted beads and Darice purple seed beads.

Shuttle-tatted beaded lace "chains" are in two different sizes and both end has lobster clasp that gives you an easy way to attach and/or detach to main pieces. You can alternate the length you desire.
