Natural Leopard Skin Jasper has been encapsulated by tatting in Turkish (Altin Basak) gold and charcoal color polyester thread with faceted crystals. I completed the set with a pair of matching earrings and a bracelet.

Square Lace in Hand

This shuttle tatting bracelet is made with Lizbeth thread. The pattern originated with machine embroidery lace that I modified into a bracelet.

Smoky Quartz

Finally, my new design is finished. I was inspired by Mae Taylor's flower bookmark.
I made some modifications and shuttle tatted the design in polyester thread with gemstones and crystals.

Smoky Quartz is one of my favorite gemstones, that draws light into shades of black and brown colors.
An elegant color combination of thread and beads blend well together.

The matching bracelet is still on my drawing board, unfortunately I completely ran out of thread.
